On the outskirts of Damascus, Syria, a large poultry farm is home to 37,000 chickens. The entire operation—including the ventilation system, temperature control equipment, and water supply—relies entirely on electricity. Every life here, every breath taken, depends on a stable power supply. However, due to the unreliable state of Syria’s power grid, frequent outages have become a constant challenge for local businesses, posing an ongoing threat to both farm operations and the safety of the poultry.
Technology Solution
In response to this reality, CHISAGE ESS has tailored a 150kW/180kWh energy storage solution for the poultry farm in Syria. The system consists of three Merc 50kW three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverters (Merc-50G1-HE) and three CAL 60kWh high-voltage batteries (CAL60-RH). Designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -45°C to 60°C, it is built to withstand Syria’s extreme climate conditions. With an on/off switching time of less than 5ms, the system seamlessly takes over the operation of critical equipment such as ventilation, temperature control, and water supply, significantly reducing equipment failure risks and labor costs.
In terms of intelligent management, the system is equipped with a Wi-Fi monitoring module that enables remote, real-time access to system performance, allowing for accurate energy consumption analysis and optimized energy allocation strategies. Additionally, the system integrates multiple safety protection mechanisms, including overload protection and short-circuit protection, significantly enhancing operational safety and long-term stability.
