Market introduction

Due to the rapid growth of the economy and the surge in energy demand, Turkey is heavily dependent on imported natural gas, coal and other traditional energy sources, energy security issues are increasingly prominent. The Turkish government attaches great importance to the development of renewable energy industry, and actively promotes various favourable policies to continuously increase the share of solar energy in the renewable energy structure. Data show that by the end of 2023, the country’s installed solar capacity reached 11.7GW. target to 2035, the national installed solar capacity reached 52.9GW.
